We are well under a month before tech giant Apple releases the next iteration of the iPhone and some may be wondering what to expect from the new iphone 16 series. Despite Apple always keeping their undertaking low key until the launch, few details about the latest iPhone models have leaked. In the last few years, Apple has been criticized for hitting “innovators block” with few innovative upgrades in their last few iterations. However, make no mistake they are still the league leaders in this game with the quality of their products still unmatched. The new series of iPhone is rumored to come with some significant upgrades
- Color pallet
For starters, it is all about bigger displays and better performance. The series will come in 5 beautiful colors. White, pink, green, blue, and the usual black.
- Size
In terms of size, the standard models will remain the same. The pro series, however, will see some changes. Apple will be making its first size upgrade in several years with the iPhone 16 pro coming in 6.3 inches and the 16 pro max will come in 6.9 inches which is a decent upgrade.
- Buttons
As you all know, Apple hasn’t been super fans of integrating buttons in their models but looks like there was a positive feed on that front from last year and that may explain why they are willing to do some tweaks in this area. While the action button was only available in the pro series of the iPhone 15 iteration, it will now be available in all the iPhone 16 models. There is an introduction of a ‘capture’ button as well
A-Series chips
Though not exclusive there is an expectation of improvements in terms of performance. This is because the iPhone 16 chips have been built using the latest N3ES nanometer node. it remains to be seen how much improvement this one is going to cause. Otherwise, let’s all keep an eye on the launch coming up in early September.
